David Buckwell

David Buckwell, affectionately known as "Buck" among close friends, embodies the essence of a lifelong resident of New Britain, Connecticut. His unwavering commitment to community service is evident through his roles on various boards, including his current positions as a dedicated member of the Erwin Home Board of Directors and Chairman of the New Britain Commission on Community and Neighborhood Development (CCND).

Driven by a profound passion for community service, David channels his energy to assist first-time buyers in realizing their dreams of homeownership. Armed with an undergraduate degree from Central Connecticut State University and a Master's degree from the Graduate Institute, David has profoundly impacted young lives as a Special Education teacher for over two decades. Many of his former students now enjoy the benefits of homeownership, a testament to David's enduring care and commitment to his life's work.

In his moments of respite, David is an avid golfer, finding solace in fishing and leisurely moments by Waukeena Lake. Looking ahead, he eagerly anticipates sharing these cherished activities with his future grandchildren.
